Writing Circle

Writing Circle is a space to gather, connect, release & share (optional). We begin with a few breaths and gentle movements to get into our body and tune-in to what’s brewing. All feelings are welcome. Then, we gather around some nourishing snacks & tea (and sometimes homemade eggs! c/o (s)mother collective) and check-in with one another. We share what is real & raw for us at the moment. Often that involve both laughter and tears. We’ve found that much of the writing happens here, when we begin to empty all that we’ve been carrying and allow ourselves to be witnessed without judgment. We will then read a writing prompt, listen to what lingers, step away to write quietly and then reconvene to share. Sharing is optional and the circle is not a writing critique, but simply a space to be held and witnessed supportively.

Usually week mornings, 10am - 12pm
